Parking

• Signposted car park on Pfeifergorigasse with one designated disabled parking space (distance to the ticket office approx. 800 m)

• Driving on the castle grounds (pedestrian zone) only with a special permission from the castle administration

 

How to get from the car park to the castle

• The path to the castle via Edmund-Jörg-Straße (approx. 800 m) is easy to follow with only a few inclines (total difference in altitude 27 m).

• Surface on Edmund-Jörg-Straße asphalt, on the castle grounds (pedestrian zone) paved gravel, in the inner castle courtyard paved gravel and pebbles

• Seating available on the castle grounds in the summer season

 

Disabled toilet

In the castle courtyard near the ticket office (signposted); key available at the cash desk

 

Entrance

Step-free entrance to the ticket office (ramp); door opens automatically

 

Guided tour Trausnitz Castle

• Guided tour not suitable for wheelchairs; floors only accessible via stairs (approx. 30 steps per floor); some steps within the rooms

• Flooring different and partly uneven

• Seats sporadically available outside the rooms

 

Kunst- und Wunderkammer (Chamber of Art and Curiosities)

• Step-free access to the rooms via a lift (length: 140 cm, width: 100 cm)

• Doorways at least 80 cm wide

• Level flooring
