Trausnitz Castle and Kunst- und Wunderkammer (Chamber of Art and Curiosities)
28 March-September: daily 9 am-6 pm
October-27 March: daily 10 am-4 pm
(last admission: 60 minutes before closing)

Trausnitz Castle is closed only on 1 January, Shrove Tuesday and 24 / 25 / 31 December.

 

Guided tours

Monday to Saturday (except 1 May-2 August 2026):
Visit only with a guided tour (in German; every hour)

Sundays and holidays + 1 May-2 August 2026 (exhibition):
No tours; visitors can go around on their own

In the Chamber of Art and Curiosities there are no regular guided tours.
